Resting Metabolic Rate Test
Regular price $100.00An individual's resting metabolic rate (RMR) is the minimum amount of energy their body expends each day in order to function.
The RMR test evaluates the exchange ratio between carbon dioxide exhaled and oxygen inhaled in a non-invasive manner.
Participants lie comfortably still while taking breaths through a mask during the testing process. We can determine how many calories you burn when at rest by analyzing your breath.
Based on your personal metabolic condition, you may then utilize the data obtained during the test to plan your nutrition approach in a way that will enable substantial weight loss or gains in muscle.
Pre-test Requirements
It is desirable to measure a person’s metabolic rate at a true resting level. To ensure one is at rest, we recommend the following preparation:
- Avoid eating a meal 4 hours before the test.
- Avoid exercising on the day of testing.
- If possible, avoid the use of stimulants such as caffeine prior to testing.
- During the test it will be important to get into a comfortable position and relax as much as possible.
- Keep lips sealed lightly around the mouthpiece. It is important that all the air breathed out is analyzed by your KORR® machine.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. For purchases of services like Bike Fitting services, customers have the option to make full payment OR place a SGD$100 deposit to confirm your booking appointment.
2. If you are unable to make it for your appointment, please call or WhatsApp us at (+65) 9456 4029 at least 48 hours in advance. We will help you reschedule your appointment.
3. In the event of a no show or last minute cancellation, we reserve the right to forfeit your deposit.
4. For the purchase of physical products, full payment will be collected at checkout.
- For store pick-ups, customers will be notified when your order is ready for collection.
- For local deliveries, it will take about 3-5 working days to reach you.
