Functional Threshold Power Test (Free for Existing Clients)
Regular price $0.00FTP stands for Functional Threshold Power, which is defined as the highest average power you can sustain for approximately an hour, measured in watts.
Most of the latest training apps also use FTP to set workouts and training plans when using a smart trainer.
In order to accurately measure your FTP, Zwift will repeat two rounds of the FTP test with different simulations.
During both FTP tests, Zwift will guide you through warm-up intervals before riding at a challenging effort level for 20 minutes, then finish off with a cooldown block.
Your final FTP score is derived from 95% of the average power exerted during the two 20-minute tests.
We use Wahoo smart trainers to perform all our FTP tests, together with the Inside Ride mounting system where your bike frame will not be stressed during your maximum power output. We also subscribe to the Zwift software for your FTP test so that you don't have to set up or purchase it.
In short, let us do the work and you can come and find out more about your cycling metrics! Water will be provided as well.
*Important note: Participants please fill up this PAR-Q form prior to booking their FTP session.
*Clients are required to bring their own bikes for the FTP test.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. For purchases of services like Bike Fitting services, customers have the option to make full payment OR place a SGD$100 deposit to confirm your booking appointment.
2. If you are unable to make it for your appointment, please call or WhatsApp us at (+65) 9456 4029 at least 48 hours in advance. We will help you reschedule your appointment.
3. In the event of a no show or last minute cancellation, we reserve the right to forfeit your deposit.
4. For the purchase of physical products, full payment will be collected at checkout.
- For store pick-ups, customers will be notified when your order is ready for collection.
- For local deliveries, it will take about 3-5 working days to reach you.
